As a democratist, I view the CBC as a singular neccessity for a nation with the geographic immensity that is Canada. As a responsible individualist, I view public broadcasting as an absolute neccessity in an increasingly corporatist digital age. As a citizen of Canada, I view the CBC as the last bastion of reason and impartiality among the increasingly rhetorical and editorially polarizing corporate broadcast organizations dominating the nations airwaves. Let the CBC focus on Canada and its' rich multi-national culture from the inside, and the news of the nation and the world on the outside, and we can have a national broadcast organization that is more than the equal of any in the world.
