Apologies

Still working like mad, but in my rare moments of not working like mad I've outlined what I think it a good proposal for the CBC. One that should appease many of it's critics, appease the conservatives without compromising what the CBC should be and make Canada's national public broadcaster stronger for the long haul - if accepted in total,it would actually be stronger than it's ever been. Now I just have to find the time to turn that outline into a document and I'll throw it out there to be dashed to pieces.

Rogers and Melodeo launch mobile podcast service

The Days of Satellite radio are now numbered, starting at $5.00 a month (1/3 the cost of Satellite) Rogers Cell phone subscribers will have access to over 1,500 podcasts thanks to a deal annouced earlier this week - (PDF)

Because of the significantly lower costs, the fact that it requires no additional device and the fact that it can go with you whereever your phone does - this would appear to be the beginning of the end for Satellite.
