If you were in charge?
I've hear alot of criticism of CBC's management on various blogs and live and in person from various people. Obviously I too have been critical of the Direction of CBC management at times. In all honestly though, many (not all) of the changes I have advocated are either in place or in the works. I'm not nearly as skeptical as I was a year ago. I still things they could do better, things they could do smarter, and projects I think they should take on, but for those of you who still complain (usually anonymously) about 'management' I'd like to know: If you were suddenly in Rabinovich's seat and had absolute control over the corp, with the same financial restrictions, what would you do differently?

Have all Upper Management take a 10% pay cut and put that money into the extra regional/local production.
Thats really "putting your money where your mouth was".
Stop hiring people on contract. Fight to have staff positions again.
Nothing says "we trust you" more than hiring people and treating them like humans with futures and intellectual investment in the well-being of your organization.
